Certain patterns of thought, feeling, and behavior seem to be rather common in the histories of men with same-sex attraction. These patterns have in common a disruption in the experience of gender. For many of us, our sense of our own maleness, our relationships with other males, and our relationships with the opposite sex have all be disrupted in a quite a variety of ways.
